Job Description

This school is based on a classic British School set-up that offers a classroom structure with key stages of development. They teach the British National Curriculum including Early Years' Foundation Stage, whilst adhering to the requirements of the Bahrain Ministry of Education for Arabic, Islamic, and Social Studies. They create a positive and nurturing atmosphere to provide an excellent educational experience for their pupils.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
Significant experience in a senior leadership role within a British curriculum school
A strong track record of school improvement and driving high standards of teaching and learning
Experience with British curriculum, including EYFS through to secondary
A deep understanding of safeguarding, statutory duties, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the whole school community
Experience working in an international or expatriate school setting is advantageous

Teaching Nomad was founded in March 2011 on the basis of connecting great teachers with great schools in Asia. After moving to Shanghai, our founder, Brett, discovered a need to fill the gap between these two groups.
