Role Overview

The Admissions Officer manages the full admissions cycle, from initial enquiry through to enrolment and withdrawal, ensuring a professional and timely experience for prospective and current families.


Key Responsibilities

Admissions & Enquiries

  • Acknowledge all applications and emails within one working day; answer phone and email enquiries promptly
  • Guide parents through the admissions process, collecting required documents, declarations, and signed policies
  • Arrange pupil assessments and issue offer letters within 24 hours of completion
  • Conduct school tours for prospective families and follow up on Open House enquiries
  • Provide accurate information and manage complaints relating to admissions

Records & Administration

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date pupil records in iSAMS, including all documents and correspondence
  • Compile class lists, pupil movement lists at year-end, and subject-specific lists (Arabic, Islamic, Social Studies, French/Spanish) by nationality
  • Draft and issue parent correspondence as required
  • Support follow-up on pupil attendance issues

Enrolment

  • Work proactively to support maximum pupil intake and meet enrolment targets

Skills & Requirements

  • Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken) (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of Ministry of Education regulations and documentation
  • Familiarity with Bahrain government departments and procedures
  • Punctual, reliable, and highly organised

This role may include additional duties assigned by management in line with operational needs.
