From its humble beginnings as a Japanese language school, CLS has expanded and grown to develop an industry leading English language program, without forgetting that our goal is to develop well rounded students and people. 

We believe in developing children's abilities from a young age, including their understanding of phonics, reading, math, science, geography and culture. We encourage our teachers to be creative, and teach through games, songs, physical activities, and crafts. We believe in making learning a fun experience. 

By the time the children reach elementary school, their English and Japanese proficiency will be aligned with the American and Japanese public school system. They will also have opportunities to volunteer, learn cooking skills, try camping, experience regular educational field trips, develop their Chinese language skills, and even engage in cross-cultural activities with host schools abroad.
