Malvern College Qingdao

Malvern College Qingdao was established in 2012 as an independent 12 to 18 high school. Over the last 10 years, MCQ has grown to have the largest number of foreign teachers, the highest ratio of teachers to students and the largest number of students in Shandong Province.

Malvern College Qingdao is located in the eastern part of Chengyang district, close to the picturesque Lao Mountains. It boasts a beautiful 50 acre campus, one of the largest in the province. Continental architecture establishes the historical and cultural spirit of global education.

MCQ’s extensive faculty have graduated from world-renowned universities such as Oxford, Harvard and Cambridge; the total number of foreign teachers is now over 40, accounting for 40 percent of the total staff. All our teachers teach in English. 

Our student population has grown to 900 fully boarding. All our students sit UK qualifications, and all our students leave China for University education. Our school has been awarded the title of ‘Excellent Edexcel Center of the Year’ for two consecutive years by virtue of its advanced management, high-quality teaching and outstanding achievements in higher education. This is a milestone in the history of our school's development.
