In the early 2000s, the JadeClass founders noticed an increase in the number of Chinese students studying abroad, as well as a decrease in their average ages. This inspired our founders to set up an English-centered academic training school in China aimed at helping Chinese students connect with the western education system at an earlier age, enabling them to better adapt when they eventually study abroad.

In 2008, JadeClass officially opened in Shanghai, with founding team members from both the US and China. With our diverse backgrounds and deep cross-cultural experience, as well as a well-developed curriculum, JadeClass quickly set itself apart from other training centers. Business spread rapidly by way of recommendations from satisfied students and parents, and JadeClass grew from only 5 classrooms to the 20 we have today.
