English as the first foreign language of our students and their bilingual ability will put them in a leading position in future university applications and job interviews. We aware that China's advanced mathematics teaching methods have enabled Chinese students to lead the world in mathematics, and in partnership with Durham University's School of Education – No.1 in the UK – we offer a 'fusion' maths curriculum which shows every St Bees student's competence in this subject.
