Educational Training and Consulting Company (ETC), founded in 1998 and officially licensed in 2001, is one of Vietnam’s first companies specializing in study abroad consulting. Since 2000, ETC has represented hundreds of respected high schools, colleges, and universities worldwide, particularly from the US, UK, and New Zealand. The company has consistently received recognition from embassies and international education organizations for its excellence and professionalism.
In 2007, ETC established Washington English Center (WEC) in collaboration with Inlingua Washington DC, a leading global English training organization. This partnership brought American teaching methods to Vietnam, leading to rapid growth—from 100 students in 2007 to 600 in 2008. WEC became the exclusive partner of Inlingua in Vietnam and played a key role in a joint project presented to Vietnam’s Ministry of Education.
WEC was also among the first to pilot the government-approved English Linkage Program in Hanoi's public schools, starting in 2010. By 2015, it had expanded to 45 partner schools across primary, secondary, and high school levels.
Today, WEC continues to build on its success, offering high-quality English instruction and an advanced IELTS program that helps students achieve scores of 7.0 and above—solidifying its reputation as a trusted name in English education in Vietnam.
