About the schools
 
Our client school group was established in 2002 and aims to provide a world class education that prepares students with the skills and knowledge to succeed in academic, personal and social endeavors and to enable them to pursue and succeed in higher education at leading academic institutions throughout the world. There are six schools within the group with locations in Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah. All schools are accredited by AdvancED and three of the schools are authorized by IBO to offer Primary Years (PYP), Middle Years (MYP) and the IB Diploma Programs (DP). All secondary schools offer College Board Advanced Placement classes as determined by student requests.

About the contract

About you
  • From native English speaking country
  • Middle & High school subject teachers
    • Must have a bachelor degree in the subject being taught plus a teaching license or Post Graduate education degree
    • Or an education degree with a specialty in that particular subject
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate teaching experience in SEN, Gifted & Talented or child protection programs
    • Must be able to provide references to verify teaching experience
  • Teaching license is preferred

Emirates National Schools (ENS) was formed by Presidential Decree and is owned by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs. ENS first opened its doors in 2002 in Mohammed Bin Zayed City. Students earning 53 credits or more in grades 9-12 may earn an ENS American Diploma. Emirates National Schools (ENS) also offers College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) courses for grades 11 and 12. Students earning AP course credits will have their courses recognized worldwide by colleges and universities. Students may also work toward an IB Diploma Program (IBDP). Colleges and universities recognize the IBDP in over 128 countries. ENS as an IB World School recognizes the essential role that education prepares students for life and has adopted the IB learner profile through all grade levels to promote teaching and learning rich in core academic and co-curricular activities. As part of the accreditation process through Cognia, Emirates National Schools (ENS) works with essential stakeholders through a continual review and improvement planning process.
