Mountain View International (MVI) is a private high school organization that provides a fully accredited American education to students in Guangzhou and Hefei, China. 

History:

• 1982: Mountain View Christian Academy (MVCA) is founded in Bryant, Alabama.
• 2007: MVCA starts an international program and welcomes its first foreign exchange students.
• 2013: MVCA launches its first Sino-American program in Hefei, China.
• 2018: MVCA transitions to MVI
• 2024: a second Sino-American program is added in Guangzhou, China. 

MVI has a proven track record of success, with about 92% of graduating students being accepted to universities abroad each and every year. These students receive hundreds of offers from colleges and universities all over the world every year.

MVI is accredited through the National Council for Private School Association (NCPSA), the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS), and the Ministry of Education and Accreditation (ACTS International Branch). This allows students the opportunity to earn an American high school diploma and apply for top universities in the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia and other countries. 

Joining MVI helps to prepare students for the classroom environment that they will experience in the United States. All students receive a 3-year American education utilizing American textbooks and enhanced by native English-speaking teachers who instruct in a style that is similar to what a student would expect to see at an American university. This allows students to have a smooth transition into their undergraduate and graduate education.
